You could say I got lucky. 

I had to really search for it, but I ended up finding a heartbeat at just shy of 14 weeks and today I'm 15 and got  the heartbeat as clear as day. 

Anyone not sure of what the heartbeat sounds like, think of a washing machine when it's a large load and how the machine itself bounces around. You will hear something similar, like a high-pitched whooshing that you'll think is the heartbeat, but it's just the blood traveling.
