if someone doesn't press charges, will it appear on your record?

if you don't get in trouble for a crime when the police arrived or either not get charged for a crime as decided by officers because that person refuse to press charges, will it still go on your record? I had an incident occured and I didn't get charged for anything but there was a bench warrant out but was later dropped. I had no clue the warrant happened I was in another state. So they was filing. Im going through army evaluations next week.
