Cloth diapers?

This is my third baby and we are thinking of getting nice cloth diapers just to use around the house during the day.  Anyone else use cloth diapers and know which type/brand is best?

We use BumGenius cloth diapers (freetime style). They're fantastic. I also used newborn prefolds, which are nice too but I found the all in one diapers are such a breeze when they get bigger and try and roll around.

I make my own :) I have three kiddos expecting 4th, and I only just now used cloth with baby 3. I LOVE cloth!! I've already started sewing some newborn size for new baby expected end of November. My daughter is 2 and still using the one size. I make pocket diapers and prefer those, I've tried hybrid diapers and don't care for them. Before I started making my own I used bumgenius and alva baby. I did NOT like the fit of bumgenius, I loved alva baby and they are way cheaper. But now I only prefer the ones I make ;) I've sold off all my others! But definitely use a few brands once baby is here to see the fit and what works best for you!

I'd do a try. Even between my 2, they have fired different styles of nappies. Trying out a few different ones is great as you can work out what works for you.

I haven't started cloth yet, but I've done a lot of research! I'm going to do a trial program to try different brands/styles and to make sure I'm comfortable with cloth. I plan on trying some or all of the following - pockets (Rumparooz, Nicki's, Funky Fluff) and prefolds with covers (Best Bottom, Softbums, Thirsties, or Rumparooz). I think I'll also try the new Grovia ONE Diaper. When we get to longer sleep times through the night, I'll probably do fitteds (Sustainablebabyish) with a fleece cover.
