Could i still be preggo neg blood test

I had my first iui on may 20 and just got back blood test results from 11 dpiui. Its negative. I took a hpt on 9 dpiui and it shpwed a very faint line..is it possible that the blood test was false or too early? Im giving up hope i really thought it worked!
