Do not wait until a positive pregnancy test, do it after ovulation!

You can but if the progesterone levels don't rise after conception then you will miscarry. Your doctor can put you on progesterone, usually after you test positive for pregnancy.

How do you know if your low?

I miscarried at 8 weeks. I didn't find out till 9 weeks 3 days. My dr tested my progesterone which was only 4.5. She's pretty sure that was the cause of my mc. Next pregnancy I get put on supplements right away.

I did and have a healthy 12 mo ds now! I took blood test immediately after my bfp (17 dpo) b.c I had a had a history of low progesterone and 5 yrs of infertility. My blood test came back with low p so I was put on pregestrone injections which I had to take for the whole first trimester. Hurt but 100% worth it! :)

You can conceive but you do need the medication to supplement.
