Studies have been done on this, HB does not tend to be higher with one gender over the other. HB is a little higher in earlier pregnancy and when baby is active.

I said yes but meant don't know lol  having a boy his h.b is always around 140 my sister who's 2wks behind me is having a girl and the h.b is always about 158 hope this helps as a guide altho not always work out bcoz while checking heart beat one day my midwife said ohhhh sounds like a girl and yet 3scans have comfirmed a boy so u never know xx
