At my appointment last week, my OB said I was measuring small, so she sent me in for another ultrasound (32 weeks). Today, I get a call from the OB's assistant saying the baby is measuring normal but that my cervix has shortened.  Now my OB wants me to avoid strenuous activity, no sex, and to see her again this week.  I didn't have this experience with my first. I was in a different state and had a Midwife. I don't think this would be happening with a midwife. I kind of wonder if my OB is just getting more out of my insurance.
