Man Cave

We are newlyweds (next week will be 6 months) and we bought a house with a garage. For the last month, my husband has been 'hanging out' in the garage for hours every night and I feel so lonely. I wait for him to come home every night and I can't help but feel hurt that he doesn't want to spend his evening with me. This has never been an issue because we lived in a little apartment. He literally does nothing in the garage: he listens to music, arranges his tools, reads magazines and manuals and has a couple beers. I do not think he is cheating or anything like that, I just need to figure out how to deal with being lonely. We have talked about it, and he says he'll try to work on it, but the next night he does it again. How do I deal with this?
