Does weight affect TTC?

Question

I'm 23 yrs old. 5'2" and weigh about 101lbs.

My family has thin genes but I don't know if my weight personally is affecting my husband and I getting pregnant.

Women with lower bmi as well as higher bmi can have terrible ttc. It's best to talk to your doctor and what they suggest is a healthy weight. Your doctor can also make great suggestions for healthy ways to gain our lose weight based on your needs.

Sometimes women with a lower than normal bmi can have issues concieving, much like women who have a bmi that is considered high. I have ready thst sometimes gaining a few pounds can aid in fertility when you're tiny.
