What to expect in my third trimester appointment

I have an appointment coming up on Tuesday and it will be my first appointment of my 3rd trimester. Will anything be different from my other appointments?

Answer

They may send you to do your glucose screening of you haven't already, and offer or talk to you about the TDAP vaccination. But other than that it should be the same. Listen to the heart beat, get a measurement of the uterus, and discussion with your doctor. They won't start checking your cervix or anything until 32+ weeks typically and my doctor always warned me at the previous visit that it would happen.
