Skipped pill restart whole thing?

so if I just started my pills Sunday and they need a week to kick in, but then I missed a pill say today or Saturday, would it then restart and take another week? Or would it be the same as missing a pill when I've been taking them for month.

If you miss one or two days in a row you double up and need to use condoms as back up for 2 weeks. If you miss more than that you need to wait for your period and restart the pills.
