Phlebotomists?

Question

Anyone on here a phlebotomist? Especially those in Florida, but really anywhere will do. I'm interested in going in the field, but I'm not sure how much I'll end up paid starting out, how many hours ill be given, etc. I've Googled it, but everyone seemed to have different answers, so I'm looking for real people to give me their experiences.

I am in Washington state! School was 6 months, and it's a really enjoyable job. Feel free to ask any questions.

I am a phlebotomist! I love it because sticking people came so easy to me! I only made 9 an hour from where I live.

I'm in ny and I make 23 dollars an hour, I've also been doing it for 14 years and work in a hospital.  The hours are atrocious though it's usually start time 5am or 6am to get blood draws done by 7am for Drs. It's a good job.  I enjoy it for the most part.

Is that a doctor specializing in phlem?

Took 6 months for me. I was in Georgia at the time so HOPE paid for me but I had to pay for drug screen and background check and books. They have programs that take 8weeks. I've been doing it for 5 years now.

I went to school for phlebotomy here in Nc and can NOT find a job at all I wouldn't do it but that's just my advice
