if you change your tampon every 2-4 hours like you're suppose to can you get toxic shock syndrome even though you change it out when you're suppose to ?

I think only if your using to high of absorbancy

The chances of toxic shock syndrome are tiny, even if you leave the tampon in 8 hours. In 2014, only 255 people in the US had TSS and that includes people who got it from surgery or a wound. And millions of women use tampons every month.
