I'm married to my wife and have two children ( which are hers from a previous relationship) and we've had a baby 6 months ago , I want to get a tattoo of his name as he's my biological son but don't know how I feel getting the others as well ? Is it wrong just to get his or should I get theirs as well ? I think my wife expects me to get theirs if I have my sons !

If that's what you want to do I wouldn't say it's wrong. However depending on how old the other children are and how long you've been a part of their lives you may inadvertently make them feel that they aren't as important to you as the baby is. I'm a step kid and I have a step kid so I feel like I understand the things that go through their minds. I never refer to my step daughter as my stepdaughter in her presence. I always loved that my step dad called me his daughter. No different than his other kids. I'd just keep that in mind.

No. I wouldn't get anyone else except my own children's names tattoo'd on me. But that's just how I feel, I know a lot of people would get the other kids names too but I don't see the need to or a reason as to why I should.

Idk man, I'd feel kind of weird with a tattoo of someone else's kids names on me. I personally would only get my child's name on my skin, nothing against the other children I just wouldn't be comfortable.

I don't think it is wrong to just get his. You could get it somewhere that isn't always visible. I have one of my sibling's names but not the others. We are close in age and are more like twins than sisters.
