Having trouble w/ TTC

My fiancé and I have been TTC for 1 year this month. I have 2 kids from a previous marriage and he has 2 kids from a previous marriage. So we both know we can make babies! Lol It did not take me even 1/2 this long to conceive my 2 children after stopping the birth control. I'm concerned that he may have a really low sperm count due to the fact that he's a regular drinker.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
