How common is it to ovulate twice in a month??

I am 8dpo and used an opk just for the heck of it and it's almost positive! I've never tested out this theory before about ovulating twice in a month, but am interested in hearing some stories! Cause if I ovulate twice then I'm going to make sure I BD more lol. Thank you :)

Well i guess that's what I mean! This is the second surge I've seen. I'm pretty sure I already ovulated though because I had signs of ovulation. I'm just confused as to why I have another surge is all
