Insurance is no help...

Hey guys. So my husband and I have Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance through his employer (a school district bc he is a teacher) and we have the highest and best coverage you can I get. I recently went in for a checkup to see why im not getting pregnanct and had blood drawn and a transvaginal ultrasound. I havent received a bill for them yet, but on my insurance account online it ahows that I will owe close to $2000 for those few things because insurance will not cover any of it! Is this normal?? This is unreal...it seems like they will help you keep from getting pregnant and will help once you are pregnant, but mention at all that you need help trying and you are on your own. I am so upset right now.
