Has anyone else become a germaphobe?

Ever since I found out I was pregnant I have become such a huge germaphobe! Is anyone else like this? I never used to be and even grew up on a farm where I was surrounded by farm animals, but after reading stuff online I feel like I can't be too careful 😩

I've had several coworkers coughing like crazy all day long around me and literally wanted to punch them. And forget anyone smoking on a street I need to walk down, that makes me homicidal.

I don't really have a choice but to be chill about the different bacteria I come across...I took care of a TB rule out last week, had flu patients at the beginning of my pregnancy and have had people with MRSA, C dif, VRE, etc. the only thing I've been kept away from is CRE...

Yep! I work in an office in a nursing home and I've seen most of the residents put their hands in their pants and cough all over and then want to hold your hand or hug you. I avoid it as much as possible.

In the beginning I couldn't be paranoid because I'm a teacher and kids carry lots of snotty nasty germs but now that I'm home for the summer, I've been a bit of a clean freak.

I can relate! Usually I'm tolerant of germs because I rarely get sick but lately I'm easily grossed out by germs. I thought it was just me!
