Heartburn med help

What heartburn medication are you ladies on. I've had heartburn ever since I was in high school. I don't usually get the chest pains but my problem is tight throat which used to lead to high anxiety because I felt my throat was closing. Now since I know it's to do with acid reflux I am less anxious. I'm currently on nexium now and still need to wait a few days before testing for pregnancy. Once I know I will be switching to something that is safer. Any thing that works well during pregnancy. Thank you in advance !!
