How soon can your doctor see the baby on the ultrasound?

Since I am still being followed in fertility I will get an ultrasound at 6 weeks, 8 weeks and then at 10 weeks. They said at that point they will discharge me from fertility and send me to OB :) I get to see my baby 6/23/15 and I can't wait!!!

I have an appointment next Friday and I will be 6 weeks. I am assuming I will only see a sac and maybe a small blip of a baby lol... Is it crazy of me to wish that time would fly so I could get out of this scary 1st trimester?!

I am currently 3 weeks pregnant so i will be getting an ultra sound in 2 weeks being 5 weeks pregnant as we dnt know exactly the due date

I saw a sack at 6 w and I had an 8 week were I definitely saw a little bean with arm buds

I want to wait until 8 weeks because I don't want to go and not see anything and freak myself out! I think you can see the sac and all a few weeks before that.
