FTM "Braxton Hicks"

Latasha • Had ectopic pregnancy of march 2010, had 3 miscarriages December 2012-march 2013 with drs help. Had a rainbow baby girl August 27, 2015 and currently pregnant again naturally. 👏🏻
I would like to know what exactly they are supposed to feel like?? I've read some say cramps & she say your stomach tightening. I've had a few cramps but not last long when I lay down. I was wandering what to look for.

It will feel like your stomach hardening then releasing it will be your uterus so depending on how far along you are it will probably be your lower stomach. It is sometimes described as cramping kind of pain, no pain just tightening of the stomach, and other times very painful. Once you are further along and your uterus is bigger you will be able to notice and pin point it a little bit better. I never experienced any pain with mine or cramping just a tight feeling like my muscles were flexing. They usually don't last very long.

yep so your would be higher than your belly button. I'd recommend paying attention when you feel like you are having one place your hands on where your uterus is it should feel kind of like maybe you are flexing your ab muscles like they are tight

Well depends on where your uterus is at mines around my belly button and I'm 22 weeks. when your doctor measures it at your appointments I'd keep a mental note of how up it is each time.

Your stomach gets hard. That's even how the drs described it to me when they asked if I had any.

Thanks. I haven't had that but I definitely had cramps in my lower stomach but it's not long. I'm 27 weeks 2 days so I was just wanting to know for the heads up.

My whole stomach gets hard. I guess I can feel it more higher up but it's definitely the whole thing for me.
