How many days should I wait to test...

I have been ttc for over a year, only been ovulation tracking for 3+ months. My periods come the day before or day of that my apps say they are due. I'm have always been quite regular. So far anyhow. Today according to both apps I use, I am 1 day late. So my question is how many days late would be cause for concern, and an actual reason to test. I have an hpt I have been saving for this, I don't wanna over test and add stress to our ttc journey. * no bashing *
