If you are planning on a scheduled c-section, what week?

I'm currently 17wks with frat twins and I'm trying to get a feel for what others and their doctors are planning as far as what week of pregnancy to due a scheduled c-section. With my singleton (12 years ago) there were problems and almost had to gave an emergency c-section, so with these twins I want to be safe and have a plan up front.

From what I understand , my dr is planning on taking mine early..around 36 weeks. I'm not totally comfortable with that if there's no issues with the babies health wise. I'd prefer to wait until at least 38-39 weeks but I'll have to negotiate with him to get there lol

My dr will be checking the babies lungs via an amnio when I'm 37 weeks, if they are ready he will take them then. If not we will be waiting until 38 weeks. I have to have a planned c section and don't want to go into labor

I'm not getting to go past 37 weeks with twins. Depending how lying will determine vaginal birth or c section.
