Can change of diet affect cm?

I have had a major change of diet in a positive way, and I'm really proud of myself. The only problem is for the past two days I have noticed in the shower that my cm has been smelling bad. The smell isn't a period or fishy smell, more of a onion/garlic smell. Is something wrong or just the change of diet?

Diet can affect the smell/taste of any body fluid, but women are more likely to notice it when it comes to CM. Sometimes it will smell acidic for the first few weeks, until your body becomes accustomed to the new diet (especially if the diet is healthier). If the smell/taste is becoming a problem then eat more fruit/drink more juice, and drink plenty of water. Download a water app if you have a hard time remembering to drink. (the more vegetables you ingest, the worse the smell can become for some people, especially greens) Pineapple is known to work the fastest and be the more effective at changing the smell/taste.
