Confused?
I was at work the other day and staff were conversating about gay marriage. I noticed they were putting down a man who had written into the office expressing his opinion about gay marriage and how his reasons for being against it. Yes he was coming from a religious point of view. I am Christian, but I know the word says to love ALL and it isn't up to us to judge others so I don't really care what gay people choose to do, at the end of the day we all go to our homes and it's none of anyone's business wat u do in ur home. I must say though, I notice that I have to watch what I say about people's sexuality and I am careful to not offend or disrespect in public spaces. I have noticed that the same is not reciprocated. Do people with opposing opinions deserve to be disrespected or just because they have grown up in a faith means to discredit them as a person because they don't believe in what society tells them they should believe in? It's a shame that people can say anything they want about those who come from a religious background but we are not free to do the same without backlash. I don't expect people to agree with me on what I believe in but I do believe in mutual respect for one another despite our differences. End of rant 💕
