"Feeling like you're having twins"

Did anyone ever have the feeling that they are having twins and it was true? I don't have my first ultrasound for another few days but I kind of think I'm having twins. Like I know that sounds stupid, but I knew I was pregnant. I knew it. I got a negative test but I just felt like I was. Is there at least some validity to this? My husband for some reason just really wants to have twins, and I do too. It's difficult but two babies would be such a blessing.
