When to Begin

Question

When did you begin getting your nursery ready? My partner emptied the room out today and we have a friend coming over to help paint tomorrow. Wanted to know when everyone started setting up furniture and everything like that? We are due October 27, but we are teachers and have time to do things this summer.

My husband is deployed, so we are staying with family. However, as soon as we get home I plan on getting started on the nursery. This my third and final pregnancy and the first time I will really get to nest!! I will be about 24 weeks when we start getting the nursery ready.

I think it's fine to do it whenever. If you have time this summer go ahead and do it so you won't be stressed about getting it done when school starts back. IMO you will want to do it in your 2nd trimester because you won't feel like doing it in your 3rd.

Due Oct 21, we've already got a few furniture items and are getting paint within the week. My goal is to have it complete by early September. Starting early gives me time to slow poke!

I'm a teacher as well and I only have 3 weeks off in August so that's when we will be doing everything :) we have plenty of time since I'm not due until 10/5. The only thing done is the paint since we just moved and had the house painted!

With my first I was so ready we did his at 6 months this baby all we have done so far is paint n put all of our. First born baby stuff in there the room is a bit messy now lol I did at least hang up some of her clothes we got her 😩

I started around 13w I had 3 early miscarrages, so when I got past the danger zone I started getting little things. Although I have not set it all up yet I am waiting to do that around 30-35 weeks so I can nest and unpack everything. Have fun and congrats
