Hair dye used to contain formaldehyde which is why it wasn't safe but that's been removed for years now.

It's safe after your first trimester. I decided not to bother since I have limited energy and my hair grows FAST now! If it makes you feel good go for it, just make sure your space is ventilated and you sit if you get lightheaded!

I'm going to get my hair done Sunday. Everything I have read has said that it is safe.

Got my hair done today but I do highlights not all over color so it doesn't absorb. I personally think it's fine though

I personally opted to get foils so that nothing touched my scalp just in case :)
