Just because~ Happy anniversary to my grandparents in heaven
I've never given much thought about how different my grandparents probably had it being married in the 50s as an interracial couple (mostly because for some reason I never considered them as such) I knew my grandfather faced racism in WWII and that they had to go to another state to be married because he was not white but I suppose because we never were explained that they were "different" somehow, I never considered the adversity they faced during that era! How amazing that they loved each other that much to endure:) I miss them
So! I wish I would've asked more questions!
