Bella Scottlyn Espeleta was born at 6:25pm on June 5, 2015. I was induced on June 4, 2015 with prostaglandin gel which didn't work and then with cervidil which brought me to 3cm. I went to 3cm-7cm in two hours, 7cm-9.5cm in 45 minutes and 9.5cm-10cm in 5 minutes! It was a crazy short labour. I had the epidural which unfortunately didn't work it's best for me. Her heart rate dropped while pushing and she nearly stopped breathing but this mama pushed her out as hard as I could. I pushed for 25-30 minutes! I needed assistance and had the vacuum which hurt so bad. I only needed 2 stitches and I'm pretty mobile for being in so much pain. She breastfeeds like a champ! I'm so happy she is here!
