Does evening primrose oil work!

Hi lady's I was just wondering if evening primrose oil pill reall work. I look it up and read about it and I read comments about it. And everyone saying it work and it induce labor and make you dilate. I'm 35 weeks and 5 days should I take the pill? I have to make my self go into labor Bc I had c section with my 1 st son 3 years ago so I can't be induce my doc said but this pill going make me dilate
