How late can someone be where the pregnancy test will still say negative?

My last period started March 30th. I tool a pregnancy test a couple weeks ago and it said negative. Has this happened to anyone where you ended up being pregnant with this amount of time?

I took like 10 pregnancy test because i was nauseous whenever I seen pizza which was super weird bc its my favorite  all came back negative still spotting during my regular periods so i thought maybe my cycles were changing nope not the case just pregnant get 2 a doctor soon so you can take care of yourself and if you're pregnant it's not tbe end of the world just a new beginning

A friend of mine was having pregnancy symptoms (morning sickness, constipation, weight gain) so she took a couple of pregnancy tests (her periods have always been irregular). All came out to be negative. She ended up seeing a GI doctor for the symptoms and luckily they did a blood test and it was discovered she was pregnant. She was almost 6 months at the time.

Sometimes the hormones in your body arent strong enough to come up on a home test until week 5. I would go to the doctor to get a blood test if you are unwilling to wait another week or two

Not me but my mom was 5 months with me before she started testing positive. Drs can do blood tests of your worried, they are more accurate

This happened to me and I wasn't really sure if I was pregnant since I always end up skipping a monthly period every year (weird I know) and my home pregnancy tests keep coming back as negative. So I made a appointment with my doctor and boom they confirmed I was indeed pregnant and almost two two months along.

My mom didn't test positive until she was almost 12 weeks!! She found out from a blood test before then, but wanted to see how long it would take to get a positive. I tested positive at 6 weeks.

I took tests early on and they were negative, my periods were also irregular. I had really bad cramping like my period was about to start so pregnancy didn't occur to me...I found out with a positive urine test at 10 weeks!

If you haven't taken another since, and you haven't got your period, I'd say try another home test, but you should book an appointment with your doc to figure out what's up.
