If you checked after the time on the packaging than it could be a false positive. Never go back after the 10 minutes or whatever. If you do, and you think it's a real positive then test again in the morning when you first wake up.
I made the mistake of seeing my test a few hours later and it had a faint line. Went to the doctor and they did a blood test and ultrasound and nothing
