How to delay peroid

Okay well this is the first year that I have my period I really don't want when we go to the beach and of course it is up that it's going to be on my birthday and when we go to the beach I don't like to go more because I'm very uncomfortable to talk to my about parents about it I can't even ask her to go get me tampons and literally good for those machines. Anyway I want to know if there is any way other than birth control a medication to delay my period
