I had that! I went to a dentist (I'm a dental assistant) because it was irritating the crap out of me and he just numbed me up and popped it. Not sure if it'll go away on its own, as I didn't give mine the chance to, lol.

It's not a cold sore due to the fact it's inside your lip. I have been diagnosed with the herpes virus. Cold sores don't look like that. Cold sores are clusters ON and AROUND the edges of the lip and outer lip. If it crusts over, cracks and oozes yellow then bleeds and crusts again then it's a cold sore. Like I said it is definitely not one!

Looks like a canker sore or chapped blister (lips get chapped and raw sometimes forming blister).

I'd swish with salt water. Buy Herpacin HL Chapstick. It's for lip sores. And really helps with chapped dry lips. Don't eat anything with excess salts. As far as salt only swish with salt water. Keep the lip and bump clean. Do not touch with unwashed hands. I'd wash your hands frequently now and dry thoroughly so no bacteria can build when you do touch something else.

It's called a mucocele. I'm a dental hygienist. It's a salivary duct that has been severed. Usually from biting your lip. It will either pop on it's own or you can pop it. They can be a tiny bit painful but really it's no biggie! Don't fret!

Looks like a cold sore.. I'd give it a few days of salt water rinsing and if that don't help schedule a appointment with the doc just to be safe.

Could be a salt sore too. I'd leave it alone and if it doesn't go away in like a few days or a week I'd do what they said. Or u could just do what they say instead
