Night shift and Pregnancy test ....? Please help !

I work till 5 am... 4 days a week and 2 days of day shift.  I usually wake up around 2-3pm in the afternoon.  When should I take my test... since it says not in the afternoon.

It says that in the morning because the hcg hormone is more concentrated and the hpt gives a more accurate result. That means that even if you go to sleep at 7am and wake up at 3 the urine is concentrated enough :) hope this helps. Good luck and baby dust! ❤️💙✨🌟

I would try when you get up? Kind of like your "first thing" in the morning. I think the point is to use the most concentrated urine because levels will be more easily detected then.

I also work nights (7p-7a). I used my FMU when I woke up at 2-3pm. It's basically our version of FMU :) I got a BFP at 8DPO. Hope this helps!

It says to take in the morning because people usually sleep at night. I work night shift and take it when I wake up in the afternoon. They want you to take it when you wake up so the hormones are built up in your urine.

Why couldn't you do it when you wake up. What would the difference be if you slept like most people at night and did it in the am. You work nights so the afternoon your am. Your pee is built up the same isn't it? Maybe I'm confused or missing something but if I were you I'd take it when you get up to get real for work.

Figure out when the longest you are holding it is... When I worked night shift, my FMU would have been like 4pm when I woke up :)

They say if it's not fmu, try to hold it for around 4 hours so it can build up a little lol so by the time you wake up after work, should be a good time! Just try not to pee before you go to bed

Take it whenever you have a chance. I took mine at 4pm and it was positive
