Attending a wedding- what to wear?

Hello ladies!

I am attending a wedding in August and was wondering what to wear. I haven't been to a wedding since elementary school and I'm 24 lol!!! So obviously I have no idea what to wear. I'm on a budget and will need something matching for my bf. Have you attended any weddings this year? What did you wear?

Just dress like you would for church. Don't wear white and don't make you BF match you. It's not prom.

It will be warm so wear a nice sundress.  Your guy does not have to match, just a nice shirt and kakis for him.  Unless it is a formal wedding then suit for him and dress or dress pants for you.

Is the wedding a formal, semi formal, casual, and what is the theme? Know the event but the safest bet is to keep theme oriented while following.  
formal longer hemline ( calf or longer  ) 
Semi formal hemline ( knee or longer )
All include a shoulder covered ( straps) or shall.

Casual hemline ( mid thigh or longer) 
Any dress is okay maybe pant suite

No white, creme,egg shell, bone colors. 
Shoes closed toe ( unless theme oriented ) 
Minimum jewelry 
      You can get good dresses at Ross,TJ Maxx, Forever21, Target, or online.
     If you don't know it won't hurt to ask the bride/ bridegroom or wedding party for help.  I hope this helps.

It depends if a evening wedding a day one is it formal but if it's a day time summer wedding a nice summer dress is cute

Hears a thought wear what makes you comfortable and confidant. Last wedding I went to I wore dark jeans heels and an a awesome top. I felt and looked good didn't spend a bunch of cash it was also a summer wedding

I would wear a knee length dress in a pretty color. And your boyfriend shouldn't match you.
