Irregular period not sure if I should take a pregnancy test.. Need someone's opinion

Okay I have a very irregular period and always have. My cycle is normally anywhere between 37-39 days apart sometimes less... My last period was April 25th... Nothing in May but I expected that because once I added the days I was should have come on in the 1st of June And today is the 7th and still nothing. So far its been like 45 days. Me and my husband arent trying but we aren't avoiding it either. We have a 5yr old but I got pregnant on the pill with her. So should I wait a few more weeks are take a test today???
