16 week appointment?

Question

I have mine tomorrow. Never managed to get nuchal reading during ultrasound so will be getting blood test! Don't know if everybody gets this. What usually happens during this appointment with midwife?

I just had my 16 week appointment last week. Nothing special. Weighed me, took my blood pressure, and listened to baby's heartbeat. We talked about a few things but I declined all additional genetic blood tests. Can't wait for 20 week scan!

Ask about other blood tests if you want them done.  My OB says they give a lot of false positives so it was up to me.  If they find anything abnormal during the 20 week anatomy scan then I'll think about further testing.
