I know I love the name. We're naming her after both of our mothers. I just can't decide on the spelling.

Are the 2 mom's names cara and lynn? If so I would actually do CaraLynn. I do like Caralynn too. If feel like if you put the space (Cara Lynn) then people will just think it is just a middle name. And for Caralyn it is too close to Carolyn and people may just think it is a typo. Not trying to down any of the spellings just wanted to give you my first impressions and it is a very cute name and i love when you can make two names one :) good luck
