Is it true you can test for pregnancy with a ovulation test?

It doesn't actually pick up the hcg. You just can have high levels of lh in early pregnancy as well. But by the time the ovulation shows super positive a pregnancy test would show up as positive as well. And since you can have multiple surges during your cycle there is no way to know without taking an actual pregnancy test.

I tried this because I had heard so many mixed results. When I got my first positive pregnancy test my opk was an obvious negative BUT around week 7 the OPK was a very strong positive.

It can pick up the hcg but you will never know unless you take an hcg test lol and good luck
