Doctor calls day before to say insurance doesn't cover!!!

Can you ladies believe, tomorrow was my first prenatal visit with ththe same doc my sis had, I was getting an ultrasound and everything, I made this appointment over a month ago and the financial person calls me today at 4pm to say that the doctor wasn't going to take my insurance because of the specific plan I had. If I chose to keep the appointment it would run between $600-$800 and be out of pocket! I was really looking forward to my ultrasound! Thank god I was able to find another doc in the network and they had an opening tomorrow but I'm not getting my ultrasound yet 😔😔  had to vent
