Depo vs nuvoring

I got my first depo shot on April 9, 2015. My period stopped. On May 30,2015 I started spotting for a few days now my period is on so total I have had some kind of bleeding for 10 days. I'm thinking of switching to the nuvoring I was on the patch for 9 years and I loved it no major side effects. I'm 31 with one child please help I am due for the next shot on June 30
