Have you or anyone you know taken clomid and had twins/multiple births?

I'm considering taking clomid. We've been ttc for 3 years, my doctor brought it up to me around one year and that it increases the chance of twins. I said I wanted to try to conceive naturally without help. Now that it has been two years, my husband wants me to start clomid. The thought of having twins freaks me out. They run in my family so I already have a chance of them.

I've took clomid and had a single baby. I was also worried because my younger brothers are fraternal twins. Fraternal twins are the hereditary kind. The way my doctor explained it, it didn't increase chances drastically.

I took Clomid and actually don't have any problems ovulating but had a blocked tube. So I was definitely worried I was going to end up with octuplets or something lol. Only one baby in here though!
