First response has turned into garbage??

Question

So I've been doing some research (since I'm a self admitted POAS addict). & from all the online reviews...first response has apparently turned to garbage? I mean I know it's the Internet and people don't always know what they are talking about but it was over 20 reviews!

I have been taking first response test the past week and have had some questionable results...

So I wanted to ask, do you guys still trust FRER? 
When did you get your BFP with them?
Are they any other store bought test you recommend?

That new frer is trash.  Same price, more difficult to read and I'm beginning to believe it's less sensitive.

I trust FRER very much. That's how I got my BFP. My internet cheapie barely showed a line but there was a definite one with the FRER.

I agree hate the new FRER.
Last time I was pregnant (ended in a blighted ovum) I had clear positives on Walgreens blue dye, and clear blue. & a negative FRER.
Maybe I got a bad batch?
It's hard to trust any of them I'm starting to see...

I don't trust the new frer it have me a faint line and I was Sooo happy. I've seen the exact same faint line for other women and they weren't pregnant. I took it at 8dpo. All the tests after that were negative. I'm now 18dpo with negatives

I loved the old FRER got my faint positive on it 8-9 dpo. If I were you and you don't like the new ones use dollar tree. It picked up my faint line same day as FRER!
This was my first and this is the veriquick brand that's by the front counter, works way better than the other!

I've been having some questionable results from frer as well.  I had 2 that showed an indent line and it really confused me because I sat there over analyzing the test for well after 10 mins.

I decided to use the 88 cent walmart ones. At least if it's faulty I only wasted 88 cents.

I got my bfp at 12 dpo. On 11dpo it was completely blank and by 12dpo I didn't have to squint to see a line. Since that morning I have taken a test 12dpo eve, 13dpo am, and 14dpo am. All have positives.. about the same darkness and thickness. I had iffy results with the clear blue test.. and I like the pink dye tests better. Much easier to read.
