Confused and Hopeful

My SO have been trying for our first baby for about a year, with no luck so far. We decided that we'd stop trying since we have a trip coming up in aug. We had sex before ovulation this cycle. Normally I'm very very regular, AF should have started Monday. I've been cramping, with some spotting when I go to the bathroom. And last night I would thought my period came, bright red bleeding, light tampon for the night. This morning nothing, not even the spotting when I go to the bathroom.. but I'm still very crampy.
