Depo shot

Okay ladies I need advice!

Please don't post anything bad about me. Only post things that will help me out and that's not rude. I seriously need help. I don't usually reach out to others in need but right now I need it.

When I was 16 I got pregnant and I was forced into an abortion by my mother. (long story). Well right after the abortion my mother had me put on the depo shot. I was on the depo shot for 2 years 16-18. Once I stopped getting the shot my period didn't come back till a year and a half later. Now it's beyond irregular. Like 1 month I'll get it and the next I won't.. 2 months could go by and I'd not get my period but once I do it could stay for 3 weeks long. A few times I thought I could be pregnant but when I took a test it be negative and I lost my hopes.... I am 21 now and engaged to a very wonderful man and we want a baby but I'm afraid the depo shot messed me up... I am Very upset and depressed because I don't know what's wrong with me... I haven't been able to go see a doctor because I don't have health insurance. Please I need advice.. Has anyone else had the depo shot and it hurt them or know someone who has..
