Mirena: Severe cramping

I am 20 and got Mirena inserted 4 days ago in hopes to regulate my sporadic periods. The day I got it I had really bad cramps which I know was normal to have and for a few days after. Today on day 4 they picked back up to being quite severe and mostly on my right side. I've also had other symptoms today like being very emotional(which is probably very normal ) and what I think may have been hot flashes. This may all be normal. But I want to hear some opinions if I should go into my doctor to make sure my Mirena is in the right place.
