Irregular period but tryin to conceive

So from feb 2014 to April 2014 I had no period and all negative pregnancy tests. From ending of April 2014 to middle of October I bleed every day from spotting, to light, to heavy and over and over. I went to the doctor and they said I had a polyp on the cavity of my uterus. Then magically the end of October it stopped and didn't return til December and it's became normal and now I'm a week late and I'm so confused
