Fertility Endocrinologist

I haven't had my cycle since Sept 2014 besides a day of spotting that was brought on by progrestrone.  My Ob/gyn has run a panel of lab work and everything came back normal.  My husband and I are TTC #1 so she is now sending me to a fertility endocrinologist. Has anyone else seen one and what was your experience with them?  I would love some insight to what I should expect.
